Access Groups
This is a group of users that have been chosen to be able to access a project or group of projects. Each member of the group has access to the project/group of projects with a distinct set of access privileges (defined by the project profile).
Creation of an Access Group
To open the Access Group window,
- click on the corresponding button, or
- from the menu "Enterprise", click on "Access Groups"
Click on "New", then enter the name for the new Access Group:
Access Group and Projects
- When an EPS (Enterprise Project Structure) node or a project is created, an access group is assigned to it. This group can later be changed by using the "Edit" function of the EPS node or the project.
- The Access Groups can be changed at any level of the project arborescence. The change of the Access Group at an EPS node level is recursively applied to all projects and EPS nodes it contains.
Please note that Access Groups can also be defined for individual sub-projects in the same manner.
Attribution of an Access Group to a Project or Group of Projects
- Choose a group of projects (EPS node) or a project
- Sélectionnez un EPS et cliquez sur "Editer"
- To change an Access Group, click on the button on its right.
- Choose an Access Group and click on "OK". The chosen Access Group appears in the EPS or project properties.
- L'ancien groupe d'accès "Enterprise" est remplacé par "R&D"
All the EPS nodes and projects that are part of the EPS node "R&D Projects" now have the same Access Group "R&D".
- Un nouveau projet aura le même groupe d'accès que l'EPS qui le contient.
