Assigning Access Privileges to Users
Users and Global Profiles
Each user is assigned a global profile. This profile can be changed at any time.
Users, Access Groups and Project Profiles
The combinaison of access group and project profile allows the following to be defined for a given user:
- which Access Groups she belongs to
- which access privileges are used for each project accessible via these Access Groups.
- Click on the tab "Project Access" to determine to which Access Groups the user belongs and which Project Profile will be used for each of them.
- Then click on "New", click on an Access Group, and click on "OK" to save the changes.
- For the Access Group "CG", you choose among the existing Project Profiles to assign one to each user
In our example, the user "Binta" is assigned to the Access Group "CG" and therefore will have access to all projects that are accessible via this Access Group using the Project Profile "Participants".
