Setting Up Timesheets

Tick this box to Activate the Approval for Timesheets (available at Project and Sub-project level)

When planning your project, you put in data that corresponds to what you think or should happen during the project, and is called "planning data". What actually does happen is called "actual data". Actual data is collected through the use of myCommunigram by the people actually executing the project tasks to create deliverables, or manually through the use of Communigram. A particular type of actual data is the number of hours a given person works on a given deliverable on a given day. This data is entered by the people doing the work through the use of so-called "timesheets". Timesheets are automatically available in myCommunigram without any additional configuration.

When data on actual work hours is entered by the myCommunigram users, this of course has an impact. By default, any hours entered by the users are taken into account to reduce the number of "remaining hours" for all deliverables that do not yet have the status "finished". You can however add in an extra step by enforcing all work hours to be approved by a manager by ticking the "Timesheets must be approved" box which is available in the Project Details:
